Google and Zoho

I’m in mourning because Googlepages is being killed off in favor of Google Sites. This summer I created lessons and tutorials for my photo students to uses pages for their portfolios. Back to the drawing board, actually back to ScreenFlow.

I decided to explore other options in case Google decides to ax any more tools. Zoho.com has a suite of free productivity and collaboration apps, that I played with for awhile. Their business apps aren’t free – so though intriguiing, they remain a mystery. I still prefer google’s notebook which has a few more bells and whistles. Wetpaint and Edublog wikis have more style, though Zoho has a wider variety of fonts available. Zoho’s tools were easy to use and may become my back up for Google unless I find something else.
